Who Needs a Personal Chef?
Anyone who finds the prospect of having to cook for family, friends or guests, whether casually or formally, irrespective of numbers, need Connemara Cooks.

How does a personal chef service work?

Once contacted, I will make an appointment to meet with you when we will run through the options available to you.  Once the menu is agreed upon, I will supply you with a written quotation and costing for your approval.  This can also be emailed to you if time is of essence.  I will discuss with you every aspect of the on-coming event and any dietary issues that need to be addressed.  If a themed occasion is required, I will endeavour to meet all colour/decorating aspects the job entails.

I have a fully qualified waiter service at my disposal and it is normal that I call on the assistance of at least one person to ensure your event is free-flowing and hassle-free.

What does the price include?

• A customized menu personally developed for each client.
• Fresh food shopping on the cooking date.
• Meal preparation and packaging.
• Supply of table linen and napkins and any other items that might be needed or enhance your table setting.
• A clean kitchen afterwards with the lingering aroma of delicious, fresh, home-cooked food.
• Fully Insured Personal Chef and qualified housekeeping assistance.

Whose kitchen?
Alll meals can be prepared in the safety of your kitchen or in my own. If I'm cooking from your kitchen, on the agreed upon cooking date I will bring the fresh ingredients for your meals along with my own pots, pans, and utensils, and prepare most of your selected dishes on site. If I am cooking from my own kitchen, all food will be brought to your home ready to be finished in your oven or on your hob. At the end of the day, I will leave your kitchen clean, all rubbish bagged for disposal, and all you're left with is the aroma of good home cooking!

Are drinks supplied?

All drinks are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.  We have the very best contacts in the wine business who will be very happy to assist you and to discuss your requirements personally.  Just ask.

Do I pay in advance?
Yes, it is customary to pay for the service in advance of your cooking date.

Do you have Gift Certificates Available?
Absolutely! Gift certificates are the perfect way to welcome home a new mom and her baby, to pamper someone spending long hours at work, to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, to help a friend or family member recovering from an illness, or anytime someone could use some extra help in the kitchen.
